Rasadarshana (Phylosophy and science of Rasashastra) and Rasachikitsa (treatment based principally on metalo-mineral based herbomineral formulations, drugs) is separate branch of applied therapeutics complimentary to Ayurveda which has been well amalgamated as interdisciplinary conglomeration with Ayurveda. Apart from most common identity as pharmaceutical sciences in Ayurveda, Rasashastra and Bhashajya Kalpana is wide arena branch inclusive of many existing contemporary branches of biological sciences like basic sciences e.g. General medicine, Chemistry, metallurgy, mineralogy, biotechnology, microbiology, nanotechnology, Pharmacology and toxicology, instrumentation etc. to name a few. It has roots of most of the applied technologies and principles of many of the branches of biological sciences and has immense potential to contribute to knowledge, improvement and application of forefront areas of several contemporary transdisciplinary branches related to biological sciences. It also has unique principles of pharmaceutics, pharmacology, toxico-kinetics as well as therapeutics. It is first ever and continued to be an evidence based applied science who had judiciously cropped benefits of safe, effective management with most of the poisons and treatment including heavy metals and minerals in to their boons to therapeutics since many centuries. Utilization of existing technologies and principles in contemporary sciences for exploration of scope for applied research, Rasashastra and Bhashajya Kalpana can pave mile stone in the aim to boost sustainable, safer, economic and robust, forefront drug research. Articles and active participations are invited with patents, innovations, start ups, robust ideas, review, survey, expert opinion to contribute potential of Rasashastra and Bhashajya Kalpana in transdisciplinary sectors especially biological sciences and to enrich, update, improve, explore the sector itself.
