Integrative Ayurveda for Global Health
The 11th World Ayurveda Congress (WAC) & Arogya Expo 2026 is a global platform bringing together the diverse dimensions of Ayurveda—its classical knowledge, clinical practice, scientific research, education, industry, innovation and emerging opportunities for global healthcare.
The 11th edition will be held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, from 10–13 December 2026, and is organised by the World Ayurveda Foundation, with the active support of the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, and the Government of Odisha.
A Journey of Global Ayurveda
The World Ayurveda Congress was established by the World Ayurveda Foundation to propagate Ayurveda globally in its true sense. The first WAC was held in Kochi in 2002, and successive editions across India have helped create greater awareness and opportunities in the practice, science and trade of Ayurveda while strengthening its international outreach.
Over the years, WAC has evolved into a major meeting point for Ayurvedic physicians, researchers, academicians, students, policymakers, healthcare professionals, industry leaders, innovators and Ayurveda enthusiasts from India and across the world.
THE 2026 EDITION
The overarching theme of the 11th WAC is:

The theme reflects the growing dialogue between Ayurveda and contemporary healthcare and creates a platform to explore evidence, innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration and practical pathways for addressing emerging health challenges.

The Congress provides opportunities to present research, exchange knowledge, engage in scientific dialogue and build collaborations across disciplines. Research papers and posters are invited from researchers, clinicians, academicians, postgraduate scholars and other professionals, creating a global forum for sharing emerging evidence and innovations in Ayurveda.

Complementing the scientific Congress, Arogya Expo brings the wider Ayurveda and AYUSH ecosystem to the public.
